The new owner of Yeovil Town Women FC has told the club’s “brilliant” fans he is dedicating the club’s fresh look to them.

Adam Murry has rebranded the rampant lion logo and changed the name to YTWFC. He is also set to unveil new home and away strips next week.

And he says his attempt to revitalise and re-energise the club is in honour of the supporters. He said: “I am very aware of just how fantastic the fans have been, not just in the past year when things have been tough, but for a long time. There is a huge amount of love for this club and it spreads far beyond the South West. It goes along the south coast, regionally and actually nationally as well. The club has a great reputation and that is not just down to the players and management team and coaches, it is about the fans just as much.”

Murry added: “I really hope everyone likes the bright, new look. We have an exciting future ahead. I really believe the fans have a lot to look forward to. They love this club and are absolutely vital to its success.”
