YTWFC have again bolstered the first team squad with the signing of Sydney Hinchcliffe.
The former Watford, Tottenham, and London Bees forward transfers from fellow Women’s National League side Hounslow, subject to league clearance. Hinchcliffe joins Chloe Lloyd, Jordan Guard, and Ellie Strippel in arriving at Yeovil since Jamie Sherwood has taken over.
Hinchcliffe, who is a fast and athletic player is bound to catch the eye of the Yeovil faithful, signs on for the rest of the season. The name may be familiar to Yeovil fans as Sydney is twin sister to Alys who also played under Jamie Sherwood in his first spell.
First Team Manager Jamie Sherwood commented on the signing, “Sydney is a great addition to the squad and brings a different dynamic to our attack. She comes in very fit and is ready to hit the ground running.”
The Club can also confirm the departure of Dan Carlton and Harriet Lambe. The club would like to place on record their thanks to the players for their efforts this season and wish them all the best in their footballing careers.
Sherwood added, “I would like to thank on behalf of the club both Dan and Harriet. They have worked tirelessly hard for the club over their time with the club and their desire to be part of the re-build. We wish them all the best at new clubs.
